Thick scrub and unwanted growth can block access and leave sections of your property difficult to use.
Vegetation mulching reduces that growth to a layer of mulch, helping you regain access without creating piles of cut vegetation to remove or burn.
We provide mulching for rural properties and project sites across North Queensland. Whether you need to open up an overgrown paddock or tackle an established patch of woody weeds, we’ll discuss the area, access and finish you need.
Our Kubota skid steer loader is fitted with an FAE heavy-duty forestry mulcher. This attachment breaks down suitable vegetation in place, leaving the mulched material on the ground.
The process limits the need to uproot vegetation or move material off site. The final result depends on the vegetation, terrain and ground conditions, which we consider when planning the work.
Mulching can help with:
Mulching opens up the area, but some woody weeds can grow back from remaining roots or seed in the soil. Where this is a concern, follow-up treatment and regrowth management should form part of the plan.
We’ll discuss the next steps so you understand what the initial mulching work can achieve and what may be needed afterwards.
Tell us where you’re located, what’s growing on the site and what you’d like to achieve. Photos of the area are a useful starting point.
